March 11, 2010 Event: Boeing 737 Presentation and Private Tour “Successes and Lessons Learned in Supply Chain Management”

Overview

The Renton 737 Program will share their processes and expertise in supply chain management. This presentation and tour agenda will include Boeing’s philosophy and processes for:

  • Inventory Management
  • Visibility and Tracking along the Supply Chain
  • Transportation Management

This event will begin with a brief overview presentation and introductions, followed by a tour of the facility and view of the supply chain procedures in real life. After the tour we will serve dinner, which will include the opportunity for questions and answers with Boeing Management.

The attendees will walk away with an understanding of the Boeing Renton supply chain management approach and philosophy.

Thursday, March 11, 2010:
3:30 PM Arrive at 10-20 Building to park and procure badges
3:45 Boeing transportation to 4-81 Final Assembly Building
4:00 Brief 737 Program presentation in Nairobi Tour Room
4:30 737 Moving Line Tour
6:00 Dinner at Rosie’s Diner
7:00 Conclude and depart, Boeing transportation back to building 10-20
