Lessons Learned from Lean Implementation
The Boeing Commercial Airplanes Production System Journey provides an
overview of our experiences, lessons learned and guiding tenets on our
path to becoming Lean. Presentation will describe the many ways our
production system has changed in response to numerous competitive,
technological, economic, political and cultural forces.
Speaker Bio
Brian Heindel is an Operational Analyst at The Boeing Company. For over
20 years, Brian has led continuous improvement activities in
fabrication, assembly, engineering and office areas. This has provided a
wide range of experiences in production areas such as, sheet metal,
thermoplastics, composites, interiors, propulsion, as well as areas like
engineering, information technology, human resources and finance.
Brian's current assignment is in the Lean Enterprise Office of Boeing
Commercial Airplanes. In this role Brian serves as a Lean consultant
providing training and facilitation support across the entire value
stream.
